Our Therapists
All our Physiotherapists have at least 25 years experience, treating a huge variety of conditions. They are all members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Physio First and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They are also recognised by all private, medical insurance companies.
Ian Goodall
Principal PhysiotherapistIan graduated from Brunel University in 1995 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy and worked as a senior NHS clinician before moving into the private sector in 2000. Ian enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions, but has a particular interest in spinal pain and sports injuries, and has great experience treating athletes of all levels. To ensure the best level of care for all his patients he attends regular post-graduate courses and works closely with all the local consultants and GPs.
Outside of physiotherapy, Ian loves nothing more than spending time with his wife, Andie, and their two young girls, Sophie & Amelie. Ian enjoys swimming, cycling, running and taking part in triathlons.
Lisa Heald
PhysiotherapistLisa graduated from King’s College London University in 1994 with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. Since this time, she has worked in the NHS and is now a Clinical Lead Physiotherapist. Lisa is able to offer Pilates on a 1:1 basis or in a class setting. Specialising in women’s health, including antenatal and postnatal back and pelvic pain, and other pregnancy related conditions. She also provides treatment for ladies with continence issues.
Andrea Smith
Practice ManagerAndrea joined The Physio Room in 2010. She ensures the smooth running of the clinic by providing administrative and accounting services that support the day to day operations of the clinic. She keeps very busy and keeps us in line! When not at the clinic she is even busier looking after her two children!
